Cogenhoe recalls the glorious 70 year reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
Heritage Society Exhibition 2 to 5 June
We will be holding an exhibition in the village hall covering all aspects of the Queen’s 70 glorious years.
What we are looking for is what you might have that we can borrow and add to the exhibition. We want to show is not just the national picture but, how the entire 70 years have touched the lives of this community. Here are some examples of what we thought you might have:
Souvenirs of the Coronation and all the jubilees
Photographs and films
Do you have any family events, marriages or births or christenings, house moves etc which coincide with Royal events?
Personal memories of meeting the Queen or attending a Royal event
We shall have film of the Coronation being shown on an old black & white television!
All suggestions and assistance will be appreciated.
What might you add to our wonderful exhibition?
