The oak tree on the Village Green was planted to commemorate the coronation of King George V in 1922. It is still flourishing.
This is still a young tree as the old saying about Oak trees is that they grow for 300 years, live for 300 years and then spend 300 years dying. So our offspring might see this tree in the next millennium.
